American made centerfire bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, manufactured in Westfield, MA. This rifle arrears 'New-in-Box.' It features a 22" PROOF Research carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel, 1-1/2 to 4 pound adjustable 'AccuTrigger,' serrated manual safety on tang, no iron sight provisions, melonite coated skeletonized receiver, steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, two-toned spiral fluted bolt, detachable 4 round box magazine, and knurled thread protector, and checkered turned down bolt handle. The black synthetic furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with adjustable length-of-pull, sling studs in the forend and buttstock, checkered rubberized contoured forend, checkered and rubberized at the wrist, and grip cap with a red Savage logo. Rifle retains approximately 99% of its melonite finish with nothing remarkable. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Synthetic stock is also excellent. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. Rifle includes original factory cardboard box, manual, ear plugs, lock, extra stock inserts for adjusting the length-of-pull, and extra comb riser inserts.
